How to Support Us

How to Support Us

As well as attending our events, volunteering to help, signing up to our initiatives and buying from our shop, here are some other ways to support our fundraising.

Club 200
Our monthly lottery, where one lucky member wins half of the prize pot, while the school 'wins' the other half. Joining Club 200 costs £2 per month, or £24 per year, with payment being taken by cheque, bank transfer or standing order. Sign up for Club 200 here: https://tinyurl.com/HPClub200

Easyfundraising
Once you're registered with Easyfundraising, each time you shop online you can raise a FREE donation for our PTA. There are over 4,100 online retailers who will donate to our cause every time you shop with them. Sign up here: www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/halsfordpark

Give as You Live
Like Easyfundraising, with Give as You Live, you can raise a small percentage of the value of your online shop for FREE, if you register the Friends of Halsford Park as your cause. Sign up here: www.giveasyoulive.com/charity/halsfordpta

Amazon Smile - unfortunately this ended in February 23
Just like Easyfundraising and Give as You Live, Amazon Smile is a shopping affiliate scheme. Once you are registered, you can raise a FREE donation of a small percentage of the value of your online shop (in this case 0.5%). Our handy YouTube tutorial shows you how: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhMGwgxJ6-M

Nectar Donate
Donate Nectar points to the Friends of Halsford Park via Crowdfunder. Go to www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/halsfordpark to help us support the school with equipment, events and opportunities for the children. 200 Nectar points equates to £1 for our charity.

Textile Recycling
We have a permanent textile recycling collection bin, under the KS2 bikesheds, ready to receive donations of reusable secondhand clothes and textiles. The PTA receives payment per kilo of acceptable donations, which include: clothing, paired gloves and shoes, bags, belts, hats, bed linen (sheets and duvet covers), towels and sleeping bags.

Secondhand Uniform
If you have good condition uniform that has been outgrown or is no longer needed, please consider donating it to us. We catalogue it, wash and mend it (if required) and resell it for a modest sum - to raise funds. We accept any purple branded uniform and gingham dresses/skirts/shorts etc. We have a collection bin under the bike sheds, next to the textile bank.

Match Funding
Some employers can provide match funding, where they will match the funds an employee raises for charity up to an upper limit. If your employer offers this, please get in touch, as we can get you involved in one of our fundraisers and help you apply for the additional funds.

Sponsorship and Donation of Raffle Prizes
For our larger events, we are always on the lookout for sponsors, and our regular raffles and silent auctions are always in need of prizes/lots. Sponsoring a stall/event or providing a raffle prize gives great publicity to your business, and helps raise funds for the school too! If you can help, please drop us a line at halsford.pta@gmail.com.

Fundraising

Exciting News! We've very nearly reached our £ target for the Key Stage 1 Trim Trail Redevelopment!! However, there is lots more that the school needs from us, so look out for updates on where PTA money is being spent, and our upcoming projects!
